Motion Graphics Project
This project was very small but I took the chance to move away from my comfort zone. I tried various new pipelines such as texturing with Procreate (Unusual I know but yielded pretty amazing painterly results) and Blender for the rigging. The character was modelled based on myself, and It is surprisingly hard to stylise yourself without playing it safe and making them look too “neutral.” I was very inspired by Alberto Mielgo’s artstyle where it focuses on imperfections and heavy brush strokes. For the Motion Graphics, side I was heavily inspired by Arcane’s fragmented and glitchy graphics.
